Amsterdam Ravers Travels: Riot of Rhythm Winter Edition in Munich

From 29th of November till the 1st of December our neighbor community hosted a Shuffle Dance battle in Munich. And for this one, our ARA teacher Soof was invited to judge during the tournament and host a workshop the day after.

Our Ravers team accompanied Soof for support but especially to help out the organizer. The AR team took over many tasks during the event which made it run smoothly. The hard work was very much appreciated.

On the first day after a long 9+ hour drive we arrived late in the evening, right on time for the meetup at Kult Tanzschule in Munich. It was pretty cold outside so we were lucky to dance in this studio. Seeing everyone again and meeting new people was amazing during this evening.

The second day, on Saturday the location Boom Base Studio in Munich was filled with nerves and excitement. It was time to battle. Kids from a very young age to dance teachers participated in this event. The atmosphere was great and the hype was present.

The battles felt safe. The rounds were very enjoyable and everyone connected with each other on that dance floor.

The judges: Kratos from France, Khaysonn from Germany, Rave Mom from the Netherlands, Ruvi from Spain and Infinity from Germany.

  To be honest it was very difficult to decide what day was our favorite. On Sunday during the workshop 'Connection in Dance' by Rave Mom some real magic happened in that studio.

We want to thank everyone who joined this event from the sideline, helped or participated. Special thanks to Lotus from Berlin for hosting this edition. We made memories and friends for a lifetime. The global community is once again, united.
